DCSA are thrilled to announce that Coopers of Mt Torrens have come on board to support the High Point Prize again in 2012. January saw us off to a flying start with the presentation of a beautiful embroidered woolen rug to 2011’s overall winner, Tamsin Adcock and ‘Finney’. DCSA also wish to thank Marlborough Park Saddlery for so kindly donating the rug.
Thanks to the generosity of Coopers of Mt Torrens, DCSA were able to offer the High Point Prize at both the Saturday twilight and Sunday daytime competition on the weekend of 21st and 22nd of January. Saturday’s winner was (you guessed it!) Tamsin Adcock, this time on the athletic chestnut ‘Whot Not’ in the Elementary 3A with a score of 67.286%.
Sunday competition saw Karen Horsell walk away with the $50 voucher for her ride on ‘Hudson Kavalier’ in the Novice 2B with 70.909%. At 16.3h, this young, strikingly elegant, dark brown stallion is a sure to be a star of the future, following in the footsteps of Korong Park Alfredo, Karen’s FEI level horse.
The next official competition where riders will be eligible for this prize is at the February Be Active competition at Mt Pleasant.
